Ok, I own one of these exact setups... Tom, you're not using it correctly!! There is a handle w/that drill that you fail to mention. Using the handle on the drill prevents the possiblity of "snapping your wrist off and breaking your wrist or amrs." You have to mention that by keeping the batteries warm, you preserve the life of the batteries.

That unit comes w/2 batteries as well. Instructions are to keep the batteries in something like a cooler bag w/handwarmers until you need to use it. When you're done you take the battery off and keep it warm.

This thing drills through alot more ice than your video indicates. No offense but your demo is very disappointing as it works alot better than the video would lead someone to believe

Tom,

Your video does not show or warn users to be sure that the handle which comes with the drill is attached to the drill and held firmly with your other hand. Its easy to sprain your wrist with the powerful torque that this drill delivers. The handle helps a lot.
Also you are not telling the viewers the proper stance when you are starting to drill. The ever spinning of the cross bar can effect danger when it may grab clothing etc while spinning.
Also carry a spare battery and try to keep it warm. You should also remove the battery to the drill inside your shanty or clothing or wrapped in a towel with a chemical hand warmer. This will insure more holes dug.
